PFLP prisoners salute the martyrs of Nakba day

PFLP prisoners held in occupation prisons held a one-day hunger strike on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, sending a statement to the prison administration on May 17, 2011, demanding that Comrade Ahmad Sa'adat be allowed a visit with his fellow prisoners. Comrade Sa'adat has been in isolation cells since March 15, 2009, and has been denied contact with his fellow prisoners, as well as family visits, reading material, and recreation.

PFLP: Nakba day rallies reaffirm the centrality of the right of return

The rise to action of the Arab peoples in memory of the Nakba together with the Palestinian people inside and outside Palestine, has reaffirmed the essence of the Arab-Zionist conflict and the Palestinian cause - the right of return, the central issue critical to developing Arab political independence and freedom from dependency, and moving toward the goals of our people for liberation, dignity, democracy, social justice and unity, said the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in a statement on May 16, 2011. 

National and Islamic Forces salute the martyrs of return and announce a day of national mourning

The National and Islamic Forces announced in Gaza that Monday, May 16, 2011 is a day of national mourning for the fifteen martyrs of the marches of return, in which Palestinian flags will be flown at half-staff on all institutions in Palestine and abroad, as well as a general commercial strike in Gaza and the West Bank and the establishment of a house of mourning at the Palestinian Legislative Council in Gaza City.
